So I was raised on a old family farm in SW Michigan and was up there last week and brought back a couple more guns. I’ve got a bunch of them but these are really cool.
One is a J.Stevens visible loading repeater in 22 short/long rifle. The other is a Winchester model 1912 in 16 gauge. Both work as they should. I think I’m gonna refinish the stocks on both. Metal is great for the age though.
So should I keep them like they are or would it be ok to at least refinish the stocks on them?
