9mm end cap on 45 Can?

I have a Sico 46. I thought there was a slight difference but not enough to pay for the end cap which at the time was another 70+ bucks.

For those out there looking to suppress.. get a dedicated can. That is the way.

I have the obsidian45 and didn’t notice much of a difference between the 9mm/45 endcaps. That said I like having the extra endcap in case I decide to run the short configuration. Keeps me from having to worry about baffles falling out of the short stack.

Late to the thread, but here's my 2 cents as an Obsidian 45 owner. The 9mm endcap does make a noticeable difference, not huge, but it's there. If you are backyard plinking and trying to stay as quiet as possible so you don't alert the liberal neighbor, or just trying to obtain the quietest 9mm shots, then it may be worth it. If you don't care about optimizing the performance, then the 45 endcap is good enough.

Splash a little water or wire pulling gel in your pistol can if you want to get it quieter. This is what they refer to as "wet" vs dry numbers.
