8mm Mauser, I need a loader

So, I've got brass cases and a box of Barnes TSX 165 grainers. Hopefully someone close to me could help me out? I'd like to work up a hot load to use for out in the field.

the last time i reloaded 8x57 was in 73. did it with the lee hand loader. go to the hodgdon site, go to their reloading data area they have lots of 8x57 loads. pick your powder and load on.

You will probably have to supply the dies, the brass, and the bullets. Friends may let you reimburse them for a few primers and powder.

I recommend that you find a friend who reloads close to your home, buy the dies from Lee, have your friend help YOU load them up. Most people will not do it for anyone with whom they are not well acquainted—unless they are in the business.

side note: that negative feedback, however insignificant, is a detriment to your getting help. I read the feedback, and to me it is a pretty minor issue that is certainly outweighed by all of your positive feed back.

Well, Inhave the bullets and cases. I can buy primers and powder. Hell, I'll even buy the dies. I just cant afford the equipment and dont have the room for it at the moment.

takes little space --

Get one of these and a set of dies, under 100 bucks.

Something to weigh powder and a set of dippers and load some up


BTW, hot loads are usually something to avoid.
