There are several options for powder by the book for this caliber. What are your favorites?
Also I reload 9mm, .223/556, and about to start .308 and 7.62x39.
Is there a powder choice that will work good in more then just the 7.62x39??
I know by my books .223 and .308 share a lot of similar powders but can’t find a common one for 7.62x39.

Depends on projectile weight.. CFE BLK, Shooters World Blackout or SBR Soccom, H110/W296, 1680, 4227.. I can't think of any that'd cross over real well though.. It's a short little cartridge with a .30cal pill that really wants a faster burning powder than most .223/5.56 or .308/7.62x51. I'm sure you can use some of the same powders with varying degrees of accuracy, as burn rates and case fill would cause inconsistent results.. just my opinion.

Also what gun/gas setup are you using? Midlength would even cut down on viable options, as you'd get short stroking..

Carbine length gas system, 16” barrel in ar platform. I was thinking of cfe Black as well, and understand the burn rates of powder needed for this cartridge. As always load by the book. That’s why I was looking for someone who has reloaded this specific cartridge.

I load .32 cal hollow points in 7.62x39, they feed in an sks. Haven't tried them in my AK yet. I've loaded all of these. At one point in time I would also reload steel cases, just a little more time consuming. The ammo in the picture isn't loaded, I use them as guages to set up for the different bullet types.
