500 magnum

Never reloaded for the 500 magnum. Need some guidance on powder and bullet combo. Looking for paper punching rounds. Thanks for the help.

I have 2 S&W 500's the 8 3/8" and 4" version. I reload for them both and use either H110 or Lil gun. I use Matt projectiles and I like using the 700 grain projectiles. The 700 grain projectiles do good out of the longer barrel, on the shorter barrel the projectiles tend to tumble with it. But I don't care, it's just a fun gun. People love feeling the power of them. Good luck.....

This is the one I bought. Should be a blast. Barrel is 3.5 inches. Love the look of the cylinder.

I have loaded plastic ammo all the way up to 700grn and 600 gen trash cans

There is much loading data... I use various powders... pm me your email and I will send you some good data

Part of me misses my 500, the other part remembers how much that sucker weighed lol
