Anyone else like digging through pawn shops for sporting goods? I promised my girlfriend's daughter I'd take her fly fishing and while I did win a give away of gear here, I haven't yet picked it up.
I was killing time wandering around a couple stores in Macon surveying the lack of guns and ammo and came across this old 1950's automatic reel with 2 piece rod. It was in terrible shape, filthy, full of dried grease and oil and dust, but it cleaned up nicely and works fine! $5 out the door! Can't beat that with a fiberglass rod!
Anyone else like "rescuing" old stuff instead of buying new ChiCom crap?
