You can always have a campfire in the rain. Smaller fire under angled high tarp. Once you get a good bed of coals it takes quite a downpour to smother it if you build the fire right. Meeting my buddy at waho at 6 then headed that way. Hopefully we'll get enough of a break in the weather to catch some trout for dinner to go with the venison steaks I have marinating. Mmmmm. Mountain surf and turf :)

I have a plan for that, wont be the first time. I'm leaving out hopefully by 9am, so I should be up there around 11 or 11:30 at the latest. Still debating if I should go by walmart on the way up and grab one of those $40 pop-up 10x10 ft canopies.
