458 socom subsonic powder info

I see that Lil Gun and RL-7 are recommended for subsonic 500 grain. Has anyone used IMR-4198? I have a bunch of Barnes 450 Gr TSX that I want to load and need to know if I should just buy another powder.

I played around with quickload for you. with a 500gr hornady bullet and a 16" barrel...

imr 4198 looks like it will do what you want. of course workup and be safe.

I dont know yet. I building a bolt gun using a 700 action and its not finished.

Alliant 2400 does look good with a 98% burn rate. I see that it only fills the case 48%, would i need to use a filler?

48% might be plenty for accuracy, with that big bullet it might be alot more than 48% once the bullet is seated.

Edit: I see the program has accounted for bullet seating?
