It locks onto to your mag well, so you have to press the mag release button to get it off. Much more secure than just sitting on top of it.

Wish I had a 3-D printer and the plans.

he is awesome. I have a 3d printed 300 blackout cut off tool that fits on a cut off saw. I use it for 300bo and 20 VT brass forming. same trim length.

could also use it to make 221 fireball brass and 17 mach4 brass from .223/556 brass.

I did a few prints gun related a couple years back, a cheek riser for my fvsr with the punisher logo, a trigger for my CZ scorpion but ended up having it printed in aluminum, some suppressor tools, and some spare mag dust covers for in my pocket. I left the company that I had access to the 3D printer, so haven't been able to make anything since.

I’m curious as to the cost of 3-D printing one of these versus buying one. I don’t know how much filament costs, but if they’re selling them for $21.99 it can’t be terribly expensive.

It's not expensive for run of the mill pla, like most things, there's a range of price / quality. Specialist stuff get's a bit more expensive.

ABS filament is $20 a spool on amazon, and lasts through a good amount of prints depending on size.
