I picked up a Monoprice 3d printer really cheap.
Once I get it repaired and running, I want to, amongst other things, make stripper clips.

I don't think I can make them from plastic. But I can make some plastic forms that metal can be pressed over and bent.

Has anyone done this yet?

Aren’t stripper clips very easy to find. I’ve never went out of my way to buy them. Most of the ones I have always came with ammo I bought.

It depends on the gun. AR strippers are all over the place. Enfield strippers are a little harder to find.
I haven't seen any K98 Mauser clips around either.
Personally, it's an interesting topic to me because you have to make the parts, set up a press and hope you got it right.
Sometimes hacking for the sake of hacking is fun. :)

You may find printing effective forms a little tricky just because they're so small a radius. You may find more meats required for them to be strong enough.

You might well be able to print plastic ones that work though.
