Has anyone on here done this conversion? I have a chance at a beater model 10 and thought about doing something different with it.

Yes I know the 9mm is .355 vs the .357 of the 38 special.

Looking for insight from someone who has built one.

Several gunsmith’s have done it. TK Custom in Ohio comes to mind. In the 90’s Colt sold a multi caliber 9/38 that used the same cylinder bored big enough in every direction to go from 380 with moonclips to 38 .... maybe 357?

I have loaded and fired a lot of cast 9mm bullets in 357’s. They work fine, but will lead the barrel.

I have a S&W airweight that was retro'd (drilled out a hair) into a 9mm by a gunsmith, pretty cool (because I'm a 9mm freak :).)
Moon clips, etc. I bought it that way, shot it (it shoots fine) I will look for the gunsmiths card, but I bought it that way.
