3 Gun Shotgun Recommendations

So I’m looking at getting a shotgun for 3 gun. Just wondering what those that shoot this recommend? What’s good that will be competitive?

I’m a hobby 3 gun shooter, JM pro is a good gun to start with. If money is not a issue benelli m2,1301, or fn slp that are loaded out.

Get someone to show you how to clean one before you get an 1100. : ) One time was enough for me. I bought a Stoeger, and put the 1100 next to the back door.

Anyway, all kidding around aside, the inertia ones are easier to keep clean, than the gas ones like the 1100. But Stoeger's made in Turkey, and with Biden's foreign policy... there may be no more Stoegers or parts. So while I love my Stoeger, think that threw before going that route also.

The Benellis work great, but are pricey.

You just need a shotgun that will hold 9+1; I think that's the maximum load-out usually. Something you can shoot fast, and with good enough sights to put slugs on steel at 50 yards. I can do that with a normal dot at the end of the barrel, when the stock is set up right. YMMV.

Right now though... where are you going to get ammo? You'll need birdshot, slugs, and maybe buck. Slugs and buck are hard to come by.
