.223 Brass Reprocessing Done Right

I took a sample of 100 and came up with the following case length dispersion.
all 100 passed the go-no go head-space test.
71 were less than .0005 of the target 2.750 (trimmed .010 from 2.760)
28 were between .001-.002 from target length.
7 were between .002 and .003 (all over target)
1 was mysteriously trimmed .010 under

All brass was
  • Pre washed to remove any carbon, stains, mud etc
  • Roll sized
  • De-primed
  • Swaged to remove any crimps
  • Full length resize
  • Neck size w/carbide expander to provide proper neck diameter/concentricity for better neck uniformity, bullet tension and less bullet run out
  • Trim, chamfer, deburr case mouth to 1.750 +/- .003
  • Final quality control inspection w/ case gauge block to verify correct head space
  • Polish
