Sigh... well.... there was only ONE thing different at LSU this year than last. That was Joe Brady, the passing/QB coach who came from the Saints and brought the spread offense that was such a wonder to watch. He was the highest paid assistant and was scheduled to more than double that and make a cool million or so, but instead he is now going back to the NFL to be the OC for the Panthers. That is a bigger loss than Joe Burrow for the program. After his announcements, some Junior stars decided to declare for the draft. If that wasn't enough, the best defensive coordinator in the game, Dave Aranda, will now be the head coach at Baylor. As the saying goes, "the cupboards are bare". Oh well, it was an unbelievable season that was absolutely incredible to watch. Somebody remind me of that NEXT year please.
