Where in the valleys of hell did you find that ?!Yup, I borrowed one for a little bit and fitted it into Deadpool. Interesting contraption. It gives you a reasonable #4.5 trigger pull but "some of us" cannot leave "well enough" alone . . . . .

This assembly was really manufactured for modern 1911's. The clearances weren't good for the M1911 grip safety to be reinstalled without modifications. The Nighthawk Trigger did deliver as advertised however. Other than the grip safety issue, it was completely a stock drop in and gave advertised performance even with this crusty old gun.
They call this a "drop in" trigger, but the assembly uses your original trigger and replaces the hammer, sear, disconnector, and sear spring.
I used this in a gun considered to be a "Series 70" but I'm not sure how well it will play with a Series 80 gun.
I like tweaking my trigger assemblies too much to consider this drop in parts, but I can see the allure.
Hope this helps.

Just one? You can never have just one 1911 my man.My 1911 is like one of my children.
I’ve gotten a little obsessed about building one up From bare frame and slide. Hoping to find one of those Brazilian colts to start with. That’s the only thing that keeps me from snagging another.Just one? You can never have just one 1911 my man.
