1911 Help

Just picked up a Rock Island 1911 chambered in 9mm. Wondering if anyone knew if the parts for this were interchangeable with standard 1911 parts. Wanted to change out trigger, hammer, and sights. Also would the full size 1911 grips fit this full size 1911 in 9mm?

Sights will most likely be different, but Im not positive. The other parts should fit just fine.

Depends on how the slide is cut as far as what sights will fit, with the exception of the barrel, bushing, magazine, and a few other parts I think most parts should be interchangeable.

Just remember interchangeable for 1911 means most likely must be fitted....
