Hermet, I just read your post. Thank you for posting it. I hadn't heard of this and am appalled. God bless all of those poor things who were poisoned. Hope this never happens again.

Alcohol is a solvent and can cause lead to leach into the alcohol from the metal itself or from lead in the soldered joints. May also cause antifreeze residue that has dried to liquify and mix with the alcohol running through the condenser.

Somebody is about to be kicked out and may spend some time in Leavenworth.
