Zip this a.m. Saw a 6 point and a dang big owl this afternoon.

Had seven show up tonight. Been planning on balancing the herd so popped the biggest doe I saw this evening.

Seen 5 3 d 2 f my buddy had killed a doe at 5:30 so I elected not to shoot already had 1 to clean.we were planning on cooking quail,wild rice and some fresh turnips.

Deer materialized late. I was surrounded but all does with fawns. Buddy I brought with me got a nice doe. That worked.

So I have same problem with my neighbors pond. Should I clear out the otter ?

My buddy has an otter in his pond. Never thought about it but can you take care of them or are they protected?

They can be taken by legal trapping methods (only).
Amazing creatures to watch. Backyard used to be a beaver pond and they are some incredible hunters to watch.

At my dads house where I hunt we have river otters they are pretty amazing to watch
