Only buck I have seen is the one I tagged with my front fender last night. Nice 8. It lived to dent another fender another day!!

I had a momma towing two babies a little before 8 this morning. Couldn't get a comfortable shot on momma. No need orphaning the kiddos anyway.

I hunted but the wind was brutal. Hunting cutover it was howling. Moved to a. Ground blind in woods saw nada.

Fairly windy in Polk County as well. Sat til just shy of noon. Saw a big bodied spike with 1 inch antlers (he about caught a bullet, but turned and I saw the tiny spikes). Always good to see critters in woods and am thankful for the hunt, regardless of the harvest. Best of luck to all yall still out there after it.
