I actually dropped down like I was doing a chin up and hugged the big one down, lol. Yeah I’ll have em tied together from now on, for sure. I had no cell service and told myself I can’t die like this... took me an hour to come up with a solid game plan and go with it. Other than burning the fingerprints off 3 fingers, it wasn’t bad.

I traded a dang near new summit viper away because I did it. Luckily I wasn’t but 15 or so feet up and did what op did. I “dropped” from it. That and my old butt couldn’t tote it around like I wanted too.

Didn't see anything tonight but squirrels. My brother saw a spike, took a video for his fam. and let it walk.

I’ll be back in at 6 in the morning... but in a different tree. The thing was, the climber bit so good in that tree, I had to wiggle it to get it loose. That’s when it slipped off my feet. I blame the tree. lol

Had three bucks come into the hardwoods thirty minutes before dark. Nicest one was a big seven pointer that we have seen a few times. After they cleared out, I got down and checked the food plots on my way back to the house. There were 11 in one plot and 8 in another. Guess I'll sit on one of them in the morning.
