Not sure if y’all use hunting apps but got a new one called Deer Cast. $29/yr to see 10days out but a buddy says it’s spot on.
They are chasing where I’m at
nothing yet. Last bit of light though. The best time for them to sneak out
Skeeter are bad.
Saw a hand full of does and a pretty 10 pointer this morning. He needs another year, so I let him walk. Back in the same creek bottom this evening and saw 9 does and a six pointer. Haven't seen any serious chasing, but have had some bucks staying close.
Didn't see anything until 7:20 and I heard the bid buck down there walking into the thicket behind me. I was able to find him on my thermal monocular; but not in the scope with all the stuff in the way. Either way, it was a nice (warm) sit in the woods.
Giving it a break until it cools off again. Activity has been slow for the past few days. Gonna take a couple days to scout some private land my buddy owns and do some more scouting on a piece of public land.
