Looking for another barrel for a build, suggestions on a good shooting barrel that won't break the bank. Prefer stainless straight taper, nothing fancy or fluted. Thanks.

Kinda depends on what you consider to be breaking the bank. $225 ish and you are into a Feddersen or Kidd

Gonna be hard to beat a GM for price on a sporter barrel. Take a look on rimfire sports and customs website. They usually are cheaper on GM barrels then GM’s own site. Might check eBay too as there can be bargains found occasionally there.

I bought a GM 17” heavy taper barrel last fall for a build and couldn’t be happier with it.
