10/22 Porn

View attachment 3369860 I could not help myself I had to have the pink bag and stock. LOL.
I have come to understand why people complain about Ruger takedowns not being accurate. There is an adjustment knob that tightens the connection between the barrel and and the receiver end. Nine times out of 10 this adjustment is far too loose so the lock up is sloppy. It's no wonder they're not accurate. Watch the YouTube and get it adjusted pretty tight and you'll have better results.

I usually set it as tight as possible to allow assembly. Disassembly is usually a PITA, but oh well.
Maybe I should mount a vertical foregrip to allow better leverage?
:p

It's an illness I know. Couldn't resist. To bad the muzzle accessory was not included. But the trigger was. :)

Actually, it now has a backpacker stock. I'd like to add a sling stud (for a bipod).
Does anyone know how to disassemble the forestock? There doesn't seem an obvious way, and I'd hate to break it.
(I know I'd have to drill a hole on the shoulder stock to let it assemble).

Drill baby drill. LOL. Good luck. I'd be willing to bet that if you go just forward from the attachment screw but not so far up that you would get into the spring assembly for the locking mechanism I bet you'd be completely fine with a screw in stud.

Yeah, that might work.
I have an M1A stud that I don't need (found a bipod that mounts on the gas tube). It has a small plate that goes inside. May have to try to unclip the 2 pieces.
