Still waiting on my X22 optic mount and red dot, but she's a shooter.
Super nice. I'm contemplating a quick release mount of some sort for mine but I haven't decided what to go with yet. I want a conventional scope so I'll probably go with a conventional quick release ring set up. Putting it all in the backpack is the objective.
I've thought of the same thing when I build my last one a few years back. Sold that one and regretted it. Not now haha. I would like to find a quick release that didn't raise the optic up to high. I like the idea of the strike industries rex mount but its not quick release and you'd have to unmount it to change the battery if needed
