Very nice.. I'm trying to determine the basis of this conversion. The heavier barrel makes me think it was a collector's edition. Threaded barrel no front sight. Or is this a special edition that I'm not aware of?? Very nice

Parts swap Sunday. Short story long but I recently acquired a tapered barrel takedown installed in a backpacker stock. Turns out he had the original wooden stock. It's an Altamonte wood stock. I was assembling a backpacker from a Brownells takedown receiver. The backpacker stock is more suited to this configuration I think.
I have since taken off the scope rail and will just keep this bottom one a peep sight.
Update: I think I may swap the DNZ mount with a quick release setup so it will all fit in the bag.

I've had this one for a few years now but I just added a Franklin Armory binary. It's a 50th Anniversary take down with a gemtech Mist Integral Barrel. Stock is original but the forend has been chopped painted and Inlet to accommodate the barrel.
Awesome. How do you like the Franklin?? Great job on modifying that stock.
I'm really liking the Franklin binary trigger the only problem is so are my kids lol I can't keep up with the demand for 22LR
Just picked up this charger the other day going to try my hand Milling the back end of the stock to accept a Copper Creek 9113 adapter and throw a folding brace on it. I'll post some pics of the finished product once it's done.
Just finished inletting the stock to accept the brace adapter I think it looks pretty good just got to do a little sanding and a little touch up with some polyurethane.
