10/22 Porn

Finally have a few pics of my budget 10/22 project.
Started life as the base wood Carbean. Caught the
BX trigger group on sale somewhere. Hate the plastic
barrel band so took it off. Therefore no need for that
smaller 1.25" section on the forend, right? A few Kidd
up-grades of course along with bolt bumper stoppers.
No decent stain in the shed and I cain't do checkering.
So time for my 1st attempt at cAmOfLaGilating. Psst
Psst Psst Psst Pssssssssssssst. Did try a Hogue molded
stock but it had QC flaws so it went back and on w/the
painting. Might still qualify as a 1 of 1 Kustom 10/22.

Oh man, sorry about that. Thought I had it figured out.
The .jpg eh? Now let's see must be a button that does

Glad you like it, and thanks to Pop's Garage for
taking the photos for me. Guess my $timulu$
check should go towards a better phone w/camera.
One thing the pics don't show is how I lucked out
while removing the barrel band section of the stock.
Left on the end was a very minute lip from the pc
removed. After sanding smooth a nice little accent
line remains so it looks more finished or detailed as
if the stock came that way by design, not sawed off.
Wonder where I can have some 'Rooger' decals made
to really set it off. Hopefully Ruger has a sense of humor.

Not a 10/22 but by virtue of the magazine design and fact that it's a Ruger I think we have agreed that they qualify for this thread.
I'm just giddy over this one LOL. NIB 96/17
Haven't taken possession yet and can't wait to get my hands on it.

The xtr3 from what limited time I've had with it should be an awesome sub $2k contender. Most people are sleeping on them because of the burris name and the xtr2 reputation for being rather ho-hum. Should get it out this weekend with @ReservoirDawg10 and get to compare it against a gen2 razor and maybe an ATACR.
