10/22 Porn

Question, I want to put a threaded barrel on mine. How hard is it to do and opinion on what barrel?
Very easy to change barrels. Green Mountain is a great, accurate budget friendly choice, for more $ a Federson or a Kidd are great. If weight is a concern then the last two I mentioned offer lightweight options. Rimfire Sports and Customs is a great source for Green Mountain barrels, eBay often has good deals on Kidd barrels.

I used to shoot an old marlin gold trigger that would strike matches at 50yrd. Got my first 10/22 out of the box and got the .22 bug again. Miss plinking and wanna get back into splitting pennies.
They are a lot of fun! Great way to keep your shooting skills sharp too. To me the best part is you can shoot several hundred rounds without bruising your shoulder or your wallet!

I've heard from some on here that this 10/22 business is fun. I guess it's something I'm going to have to look into!

Once you hit that 10/22 crack pipe you will be hooked for a long time.

I have to say my rimfire just get a ton of use. Love my 10/22. My buckmark is a straight up bitch however. I have watched every assembly/reassembly video on youtube and cannot for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong. Itll fire once, eject, rack the next round then trigger doesn't work. I take off the grip scales real careful and everything seems to be where it should be. I've had smarter more capable people than me look at it as well and no joy. Might have to breakdown and take it to a gunsmith. It is eating my brain. I love the way that pistol shoots but that mark 4 may have to be next purchase. I can't imagine trying to clean that buckmark in the field after using a suppressor.

I recently off loaded a few Ruger Chargers in an unfortunate boating accident, however, I couldn't kick the rim fire addiction.

Here's my current lineup of 10/22's and I have enough parts leftover to build another rifle so I ordered a receiver.

And....today, brothers, is a good day. My suppressor build can begin as my tax stamp was just approved. 2020 isn't a ****show after all.

Off to the left is my newly acquired mini 14. Snagged the last 5.56 stamped one at Clyde Armory for a real good deal. The stainless 10/22 is in a Butler Creek folder. I was able to find a decent deal for another Butler Creek folder on eBay for well under current demand pricing (damn things are going for $300+ alone).

Going to swap in a bull barrel on the Magpul stock when I get the other receiver in.
