Item Description: We have a 1 year old Whippet that could use a new home.

She is a nice brown color.

She is VERY HIGH energy and is just "not compatible" with out 2 older lab-mixes.

The 3 of them tend to "argue" at the feeding bowl. I do not know how she will do as a solo dog, my hope is that she will relax more around feeding time.
She should probably be in a 1 Dog Family.

We rescued her, as she was abandoned last year. We have cared for her and have gotten all of her shots.
Full disclosure, she does have food issues, she becomes very possessive of her food.

She is extremely playful and still has a lot of puppy in her as she constantly chews, mostly on my hand when we watch TV together. It can be somewhat painful as her teeth are still razer sharp.

I do enjoy her company though, but 3 dogs are way too many.

PM or my cell 864 561 0053

Thanks ODT

Start letting her eat out of your hand off and on and she won't associate your hand as competition in relation with food. I could reach down in my pits bowl and take food out and he wouldn't even flinch. In had to do that when he was young so my boys were in no danger at all. Then introduce the bowl with your hand inside the bowl while she eats kibble from your hand.
She will eventually let go of that competition at feeding time.
