Just put the steel safety on it. No need to replace the other pieces to the safety they appear fairly durable and aren't in a position to be easily damaged. Im glad i didnt mess up the screw, those bad boys are $6 dollars a piece! for a screw!
Im trying to beef up the mossberg 500.
Among other things I'm changing out the plastic safety with a metal safety.
If anyone has done this....
Do I need to replace the plate, screw, spring and detent ball as well or can I reuse the oem pieces. I'm sure functionally I can use the old pieces...

I love my khar cw380 but while holding it, it feels like the trigger guard is pushing down on my strong hand (middle finger). Unfortunatly with these pocket pistols, my knuckle sits to the right, but still under, the trigger guard.

I was worried I was going to screw the whole thing up. But I'm pretty happy with how its turning out.
Started with a dremel and finished it off with 220 gril sand paper.
The finish on the bottom doesn't match the glock frame finish...
