    He said dip so I assumed he was referring to suppressors when he asked me. I clean my firearms the old fashioned way. Children toothbrushes are the key. Nice and small so they get where other gun brushes cannot . I’m not putting any of my firearms in a machine .

    Not to knit pick but you should inspect all parts of a firearm after you shoot it. This should be done while cleaning. Your in the gun when your cleaning it anyway.

    Cant beat that. I have a savage axis .308. Just a cheap under 200 bolt action. I have beat the crap out of it and it has stood tall. I did break one of the detachable mags though. Savage replaced it promptly.

    It is most likely the buffer or buffer spring making a noise inside the tube. It happens.

    IF your willing to spend I am sure someone can clone a vz-26 kit like they did with the sten to make it a closed bolt semi auto. Speak to dobbs. He may be able to put something together for you.

    This. Your best bet is to build a semi auto STEN. You can find closed bolt semi auto kits for not a whole lot of money and make a cool little pistol. These would take a big investment of money.
