You're lucky to get a Glock with a 5.5lb trigger stock. Usually it is higher. I've put a trigger pull gauge on mine and with all those mods it came back at 4.5lbs. My G30 is a gen 4 so the pull is naturally heavier than most gen 3's which could explain the pull weight.
Be careful with the titanium parts. They can flake and or break much easier than the stock steel parts. I have seen this personally with a titanium safety plunger.
If you are referring to my set up and saying it produces a 3lb trigger pull you are off by about 1.5lbs. It's more like 4.5+lbs. Definitely not 3lbs. I could see it being close to 3lbs with a reduced power striker spring but I don't like those.
I prefer the OC because it's a factory trigger bar that is polished and has a set screw to take out some of the pre-travel. I don't like all the pre-travel taken out, just for safety sake. Other aftermarket ones can have reliability issues because they aren't made from OEM parts.

Best deal on a modified glock trigger. I run the OC. trigger, a (minus) connector, 6lb trigger spring, reduced power safety plunger spring. I don't mess with the striker spring. I don't want to run the risk of getting light primer strikes.
I don't take all the...
I had one in 7mm but it was a light barrel. It was a .5moa rifle for 3 shots. After the barrel got hot it would start walking. I ended up trading it off.
LOL. Nah, I just didn't want to take apart the guts of the frame. Have you ever taken apart a XDS? It's about as irritating as having your pants full of pissed off yellow jackets.
Finally got the XDS45 to the range after the polish I did on it. Much better than before. Only two stages instead of three with a clean break at the end. I was much more accurate at 7 yards than my previous trip to the range.
It already was. There is no love for the XDs on here right now. I'm not gonna take a kick to the balls on it either so I did a little polish work and made it a little better for my needs.
It has like 25 or so rounds through it and whatever the previous owner put through it. I haven't really cleaned it yet. These guns, like most polymer guns don't need much oil so if you keep them dry where they should be and a little oil were there should be, the pistol will not build up much...
