If you are not planning to use that sight just put a small nail in the hole and tap it out. Should come out easily. Or just grab the sight with a pair of needle nose pliers and twist slowly
Yes send it back. Ruger mags and Ruger gun shouldn’t. Give you that much trouble. Sent a Lc9s back and they replaced the slide. Sent a 1911 back and they replaced the whole gun.
