I hate to read about stuff like this. Why the guy didn't try to fix the issue a second time or refund the money is beyond reason.

I've got several taurus lock keys. I don't need them and I'd be glad to send you one to see if it's the lock. Don't really care for a gun with a lock but many are coming that way these days. May be quicker to take it to a local shop and ask them to see if the lock is engaged.
Filled my .40's guide rod with #7 1/2 shot pellets. Capped with hot glue. It added about 1 -1 1/2 oz. and does help with the flip.
Why buy an $80 tungsten rod when you can do this? Sure it's nice to have a gun that you can shoot "naturally" with, but there are thousands of after market mods...
