    Bruce Weeks at Mill Creek Gun Works (678) 431-21480 in Woodstock did a 100+ year old Remington model 11 for me this fall. He reblued it for me and I gave it to my father for Christmas. He did a great job and the price was very fair.

    I know this thread is 2 years old but I wanted to know if anyone knows about Steve Parson. I've tried calling and there's not even a voicemail set up. I want to get an old shotgun re-blued for a xmas present for my dad. Any help would be appreciated.

    I took a beater magazine and removed the follower and spring. I filled it with liquid nails and let it harden. It works like a charm.

    I installed the kit in my M&P .45. It made a difference. Much better feel to the trigger.

    Very nice build. I've thought about doing that but can't seem to find the time to dedicate to such a project. A labor of love no doubt. Maybe someday.

  8. 1911 refinish

    I have used a piece of 2000 grit wet dry paper to get the scratches out then buffed it lightly with the scotchbrite.
