Yea actually have that kit up in the sales. But noticed they also make a different one for aluminum. I’ll have to research and hopefully find example pics to compare options.

Have this little airweight 38-2 that I’d like to fix the finish on.
I assume the frame is aluminum? The barrel and cylinder both steel.
So what product would i get the best results from as I’d like to strip and reblue or blacken it. Preferably something not to difficult for a beginner to get...
Those are easy to replace use penetrating oil overnight and grab it with vice grips or dremel it out a bit so you can back it out with a screwdriver. Pickup a replacement piece.
FWIW..... I never use anything equal or harder than the surface. So. I like the brass wool method with kroil. But what I've recently been doing with great success is electrolysis. Just youtube it. I tried it first on some old carcano clips and slowly moved up to my firearms. To date no finish...
