But you got to understand that takes a lot more time to do it slow and controlled to prevent scuffing and cutting into the receiver.     Nope, I just made myself one using the spare one I had from the kit I got. Probably cheaper to find a surplus gas plug and drill it out. They are very hard! Had to use a carbide end mill to do so.

    I doubt you'll have issues with the other parts, just about getting the right angle sometimes. I've got a post sample Aug I built and have messed around with them a good bit. Wouldn't call myself an Aug Smith as I'm more of a ak, beltfed kinda Smith but happy to help if you get stuck.

    I can do this but kinda agree that it's better to buy one designed for this. But easy enough with the mill.

    I've used CGW in a PO1 I previously used. Significant difference, especially on double action. Worth the money if you are actually gonna shoot it. If you get it out once a year then don't bother.
