    Much easier to start with a 9mm 1911 and go to 38 Super. Should be able to fit new barrel and bushing and be GTG with appropriate mags.

  10. 1911 trigger issue

    Somebody messed up the sear to hammer engagement. Buy a new hammer and sear, about 30-50 bucks, and you'll be right as rain.

    Keep in mind that the front sights on the P7 series were how they were sighted in at the factory. They used different height sights. So, just a friendly heads up, if you didn't select a specific height, they will probably be off.
