I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger on you doing some frame work for me. Any kind of patterns you can think of that would look good yet be functional?

I may have to give you my 19 soon and let you do some magic to the frame. I've already done damn near everything and that's one of my last steps. I'm just not going to take a hot iron to it myself I'm not the artistic type lmao.

I feel the Disconnector is the cause. I had one that would stick until you touch the trigger and she would pop free. Check for light scratches on the trigger bow where the Disconnector hits it
Look for some stuff called vht flame proof. It's a ceramic coating used for exhaust headers on cars also on brake calipers. The stuff is easy to use and is pretty damn tough. Only down side is you have to bake it like cerakote. But I just use a small toaster oven for pistols.
I'm not tryin to argue with you. I know if done correctly it won't rust. If you go ape crazy on it and take off to much surface metal then it will rust like crazy
This is not true. Do you have any weapons that have been polished. I had a polished glock and it was my ccw. I never did anything but wipe it off every now and then. Once every few months I'd rub it down with some mothers polish. Same thing with the pt1911 I polished. It is his pistol I...
Are you taking the slide down to bare metal? The bluing will look different. If it's fine detail I would try one of the touch up pens. They look like a sharpie but they are for bluing touch ups
I just used a brass punch. It will leave brass on the slide but it can be cleaned up. Mine was a pain to get in but got it after about 15 minutes. The front sight you need a small socket to fit the little bolt.
