DO NOT do this. Linseed oil is very susceptible to spontaneous combustion when exposed to any significant heat. It can actually ignite just by self-heating if you leave a rag soaked in the stuff wadded up, I am sure it would be even more likely to ignite in an oven.
Most of the beauty of the 10/22, I find, is in messing with it. The only reasons to have a completely unmolested 10/22 are these: 1) you're 12; and/or 2) you're a gun grabber trying to use the 10/22 as a beard (like Biden with his shotgun.) Either way, I'd at least get a bull barrel on there...
