Tenpoint for sure. I have one and I'll never buy a different brand. Fast and accurate. I get 2 inch groups at 30 40 and 50 yards.

  4. New to Crossbows

Well damn. Fort Gordon rules are different. Ill start shooting one into the ground when I get to my truck.
  5. New to Crossbows

I've never decocked a crossbow. I keep my target in my garage and shoot one in it when Im done hunting for the day.
  6. My Excalibur purchase.....Stoked!

My buddy raised his pointer finger up there sighting his in. Broke it quick like.

  9. I took the crossbow plunge.

That's a pretty expensive one. I use the hurricane crossbow target with great results at half the price.
  10. I took the crossbow plunge.

    You wont regret it.
  11. I took the crossbow plunge.

For 5-6 you can get a really good crossbow that's 380 plus fps. At those speeds deer cant duck.
  12. I took the crossbow plunge.

I recommend the tenpoint shadow nxt. Pure badassery and worth every penny.
  13. I took the crossbow plunge.

Bout time. Should take about 2 hours to be proficient with it. Cocking it in a climber is pretty fun.
  14. First Bow?

Get you a Martin. They are good starter bows and easily adjustable.
  15. Opinions on Martin Archery Lithium Pro

I've shot martin's and they are hard if not impossible to beat for their price.
  16. Bowtech “warranty”

I would take that 375 and invest it in a better bow from a better company. Obviously bowtech does not stand by their products.
  17. Broadhead targets?

    Blocks for broadheads.
  18. Restring Crossbow

I just replaced mine. Cost about 100. It was fraying because the plastic slide that keeps the strings from touching was missing. I used it 3 years frayed. I'm guessing normal use with good care will get you 5 plus years pretty easy.
  19. Fishin in the dark...

    Did you cook it?
  20. Big box stores "Bow Techs".

Average Joe on the street that decides to take up archery would not know. That's the customer base that those places live off. You live, you learn.
