    Tried them that way too, not for me. Not enough ketchup and hot sauce to make it taste good. Taters is only good for 2 things, as a vehicle to eat ketchup or as a projectile.

    Why would anyone want to do that? I've tried them raw and cooked, I'd rather eat sand. At least sand has texture and a possibility of flavor.

    Grits and potatoes are simply flavorless items to bulk out food with flavor. Every time someone says they like potatoes I ask how they like them. The response is always something like, with butter, sour cream, bacon, cheese, onion, chili, salt, pepper, etc. As a stand alone food, both are useless.
