    Corner Cafe in Zebulon is pretty okay. Been wanting to try the revamped Concord Cafe in Concord. Supposed to be a little upper end type stuff now rather than the country cooking it used to be. Holy Pie in Roberta is pretty decent. Seem to be good folks there.

    Yep, a group of river front land owners here in Pike County have really raised a stink about people being on the Flint River north of the Sprewell Bluff area, specifically the Flat Shoals area, where local folks have for generations spent time wandering and fishing the rocks. A pretty sad...

    Ditto, got hit by a USAA insured driver several years ago. I was also insured by USAA and had been for over twenty years with no claims. I was treated like vermin. Unbelievably eye opening.

    It probably doesn't really matter what you get. With an acre and half you're going to be on the mower for maybe 10 or 15 minutes....! My vote would be a Scag though.

    I've had the thought a few times that posting the serial number of a gun you're listing for sale or trade makes it too easy for some anti-gun nut job to report it stolen... It probably would turn out okay, but could be a nuisance in the short term.

    I always did too. Then I got an old Land Rover and was told that because of the aluminum blocks and the material used for the head gaskets, tap water wasn't a good idea and that I should stick to distilled water if I mixed my own... Was I duped? Wouldn't be the first time.

    Had to replace a water pump on one of my vehicles today. Bought a couple gallons of concentrated coolant at walmart, planning to mix it myself (no premixed on the shelf anyway...). Went over to the water aisle. No distilled water... Thought oh well, stopped by the dollar general on the way...
