  1. Anyone using Kratom?

I have a prescription for Ritalin. It's what the doctor says I can use to fight off the chronic fatigue that comes with MS. It works well enough that I feel pretty normal when I take it. However, getting Ritalin is pretty hard to do. There's a shortage and I haven't had my prescription filled...
  2. So up to 6'2" 340 now. Ordered the Nutrisystem 7 day a week plan (Didn't work. I couldn't stick to it.)

I haven't read the whole thread. So sorry if this was mentioned before. Get your thyroid checked. Mine was off and I was having some issues losing weight. (6' 1" - 250lb) Ask the doctor if you qualify for Jardiance. It's an interesting drug. One of the things I've learned since I started taking...
  3. Getting olds a bitch

Sorry to hear this bud. My grandfather had that. We got him a phone with 1 inch sized numbers on the dialer.
  4. Yay for Ritalin

I've been thinking about giving my wife some.
  5. Yay for Ritalin

Some of you may remember that I had a bad MS attack about 3yrs ago. One of the problems that hasn't gone away yet is something called "MS Fatigue'. No matter how much sleep I get, I'm always exhausted. I mentioned it to my neurologist and she was going to prescribe me Adderall, but there's a...
  6. Any former smokers on here?

I used nicotine patches. I followed the plan and when it got to the end, I bought some extra patches. I used to keep them in my wallet in case of emergencies but despite job stress and everything else, I never actually used them. Just having them there was enough.
  7. Vertigo

I don't know if this counts or not. Ever since I got MS, I can't look straight up at the sky without feeling like I'm going to fall backwards. My daughter and I were out star gazing the other night and when she put her hand on my back I could look up and I was less wobbly, but it helped for some...
  8. Insomnia cures?

I used to take Ambien. Every night. During the day I had what can only be described as "Brain Fog". The stuff works great. It's the day after I couldn't get along with.
  9. Well I've had a heck of a week.

The results from the spinal tap come back next week. Like I told someone, I'd rather it be MS than Cancer. One Day at a time.
  10. Well I've had a heck of a week.

I dont know but it's on Hulu.
  11. Well I've had a heck of a week.

He was right. Getting older beats the alternative.
  12. Well I've had a heck of a week.

I've been in a hospital since Monday. The symptoms were similar to a stroke. Turns out I might have MS. it's annoying as heck. Sometimes I can talk perfectly fine, other times I sound like Anne Ramsey in "Throw Momma From The Train". Walking is an adventure. Bleh. Just another thing. On the...
  13. Who has sleep issues?

You should get checked for Apnea. You may actually be waking up a lot more than that without knowing it and the times when you do know you woke up happen when you stop breathing. I got checked for apnea and during the test they said I "woke up" something like 100-200 times during the night.
