Average people can't sit on properties as easily as large companies that will leave them empty for a good while and also command higher prices by owning nearby properties as well.
How long ago was it that you sold/they sold if you don't mind?
I was fascinated by Zillow buying up houses. They were paying well over market value, but then again these days and times people offering up to 15% over asking price are being out bid.
A huge number of large corps. are buying up swaths of residential property as rentals. I wondered if Zillow...
Best part is where they say, "we're closing out credit lines and it will **** with your credit. Sorry and there's nothing you can do about it."

Did you buy some at the time of posting? It's certainly gone up. I think it will eventually die out honestly, but who knows. Interested to hear though.
Yeh curious about the morning rig. You can buy small super computer rigs that are seriously about the size of a brick. They just sit there and mine all day. The electrical usage is insane and they could probably heat a few rooms in a house
Personally I wouldnt put it into an ira etc as its too volitale. I did buy a small amount years ago and get a terrible feeling in my stomach anytime I hear "bitcoin", knowing what I could have gained had I invested the money I had at the time.
