To remove the existing pedestal. I’ve seen them attached to the wall in many ways. There are Lots of other tools one MAY need but I won’t go into all the possibilities.
Notice on the new cabinet that it backs up to the wall and there is no base trim. You will need some way to notch your base trim so the cabinet will sit flush against the wall.
I understand that but in their/our defense, the cost of materials and labor have gone WAAAY up. A few years back, I could hire a greenhorn for 10 bucks an hour. Now they're 17-20 bucks an hour if you can find anyone that wants to work.
