  1. Anybody shooting USPSA at Big Woods?

Here’s the big woods match: https://practiscore.com/triforce-practical-shooters-at-big-woods-goods-08-10-2023-uspsa/register
  2. Anybody shooting USPSA at Big Woods?

If you’re a competent gun handler… you’ll do better than most. One eye or two. Go. Have fun. You’re gonna love it.
  3. Cherokee USPSA

  4. Cherokee USPSA

  5. USPSA ~ Newbie ~ Gun Decisions...

Everyone shooting those guns in carry optics is shooting minor. So it really doesn’t matter…
  6. Pro Mags suck

True dat. Stage planning problem. Not really a magazine problem. If you shoot to slide lock in USPSA, you’ve already lost!
  7. PCC shooters, what are you using?

I was running a 510 prior. Is it night an day difference… nah. But there’s just some about the crispness of the dot for my astigmatism riddled eyes that cannot be beat. Im off PCC for a couple weeks. Shooting a Canik this weekend just for giggles. You’re welcome to run my PCC if you like...
  8. PCC shooters, what are you using?

Thought I’d check back in and post yet another update. Since going Eotech on my PCC… I’ve now made Grand Master in USPSA and have 3 major match wins in PCC under my belt. All running the Eotech. Can’t attribute it all to the optic… but it’s certainly not a hindrance. If you’re in the market...
  9. Ate it hard shooting uspsa!!!

We’ve all been there. Here’s me eating **** at the TN Atomic Blast last year. Pushed off just a little too hard in some deep gravel. A little finger discipline and situational awareness goes a long way on a fall.
  10. RBGC USPSA fun

Shooting the swinger from the rear fault line with iron sights on stage 6 was pretty ballsy. I presume that accounted for a few of your mikes on that stage? Otherwise, looks like you had a solid outing.
  11. Match Cancellations?

Some of the weekly matches might have to get creative... go bi-monthly or reduced round counts... but as Rob said... those that have shot matches for a while are prepared to weather a storm like this... with at least 24 months of ammo on hand.
  12. Ruger Mark IV 22/45 LTE ~ Anyone own one? Good for rimfire steel challenges?

Are you kidding? Their mags are notorious for needing tuning. Akin to a dang 2011.
  13. Shooting the RBGC January Steel Challenge...

Also recommend steel challenge as a starting point. No movement. Start from the low ready with a rimfire pistol. Just make sure she’s pretty good with an 8” steel plate at 10-15 yards. Otherwise it could be frustrating. Most of the targets are larger, but some are that small. The RBGC...
  14. DQ to end the year!!!!

  15. RBGC USPSA

Some of those partial arrays I agree 100%. We don’t usually swap them when it’s all day squadding... same number of shooters... same number of bullet holes.. but it’s something to consider. Scoring always gets to be more challenging later in the day... especially on the IPSC targets with...
  16. RBGC USPSA

3 gun is better. Pffft. :p Glad you enjoyed yourself. Riverbend puts on a great match and the new ‘Rona inspired half day format with full time RO’s has been a hit. We’ll probably be sticking with this format as long as we can get enough volunteers. Tyler Turner shooting Limited (minor)...
  17. Head down firearms day/night match!!!

Stand and shoot is indeed pretty boring. Combining strategy, shooting and hit factor scoring on the other hand... is quite challenging.
  18. Head down firearms day/night match!!!

That’s interesting. Different divisions? Or just “open”? Dudes with NODS and IR would have a pretty stout advantage over dudes with just WMLs.
  19. My first USPSA match!!!

A good showing for Limited Minor. The APS match is ok. If you really wanna see how you stack up with the USPSA crowd, you’ll need to come shoot the Riverbend match. :becky:
  20. GA State USPSA match - Riverbend Gun Club

Or you could shoot limited 10 and win
