We're still there too. We do "every Tuesday at Autrey's" and "last Sunday in Newnan". (This month was an anomaly on dates because the last two Sundays of the month were Xmas Eve and NYE.)

Despite earlier thoughts to the contrary, we WILL be hosting a USPSA match in Newnan on Sunday, 17 December. East Alabama won’t be shooting this month, so it opened up that Sunday for us.

The South Atlanta Practical Shooting Club is resuming USPSA matches at Atlanta Range & Ordnance in Newnan. They will he held on the last Sundays of the month, starting at 1400 hours.

We host a USPSA match at Autrey's Armory in Fayetteville every Tuesday evening at 7 (be there and registered by 6:45). It's a great group of laid-back folks who've mentored a ton of new shooters over its 30 year history.
Two fast C hits will beat two slow Bullseye shots every day IRL.
Those two fast C's may not perma-stop your attacker instantly, but it'll change his channel and give him pause to think about his own mortality whilst you move for better cover or slow down for that Upper A shot.
Actually, in a mathematical sense, Comstock scoring DOES reward speed more than accuracy. When you divide "Target Points" by "Time in Seconds" to arrive at a Hit Factor, the most difference in the Answer is the "Time in Seconds" (the Divisor, if I recall grade school math correctly).
