It has a decocker. If you’re looking for a double action only you’d want to find a 6943 or 6946.
A double action only would not have the decocker lever on the slide.
There is a big Ham Fest in Dalton every year. That’s where I bought my first radio and it’s still the centerpiece of my ‘shack’.
Have you gotten a license yet? The Ham Fests usually have a proctored exam as well. If you go for your Technician I’d stick around and try the General test as well...
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that is not the original box to that pistol. That’s not a Hand Ejector it looks to be a .32 Double Action 3rd model.
It’s most likely mis-stamped. The 14 has an adjustable rear sight and either a 6” or 8 3/&” barrel. They also come with the target trigger, hammer, and stocks.
None of that takes away from the fact that this is a good deal.
Dayton Specials were a special run of 14-2s with a 4” barrel. Their stocks also had a relief cut in them for speedloaders. This is most likely a model 15 with a mis-stamped frame. It’s not a common occurrence but it happened. I’ve usually seen model 13s stamped as model 10s.
I thought that might be the case. There’s a section for dealers to list firearms. It also lets potential buyers know they will need to fill out a 4473 (which you mentioned) and have to pay sales tax.
