  1. The magic of Taurus

The inflated price is the cost of not having a 4473.
  2. Reasonable price for pre owned guns

I believe the value of not filling out a 4473 is what drives individual's guns up in price. If all private sales required a 4473, the bottom would drop out of the used gun market.
  3. Are you a dealer?

That is a fair assessment and one that may be true. My 20 item trades per year (as not all mine are guns as well) may be above the normal range of someone improving their collection. That is why I posed the question to see what the general opinion was as to an amount that would be deemed inline...
  4. Are you a dealer?

Since when is asking a general question not "minding my own business?" I think some of you just are worried about the "business" part.
  5. Are you a dealer?

That one was back when I first started. You can look back at them and find the exact date if you are interested. I backed out on a sale five minutes after I agreed. I immediately called the buyer back and told him I had changed my mind and he left me negative feedback. I didn't dispute it...
  6. Are you a dealer?

My 93 transactions were conducted over a 3-4 year period. That would fall in line with the definition of "improving my collection." How about over 100 per year or almost 20 per month, would that also fall inline with the definition?
  7. Are you a dealer?

True......could be other items besides firearms. The interesting thing is that if you have 100 feedbacks per year you have been a member, there is no telling how many you actually did as not everyone leaves feedbacks. Just wondering if anyone thinks about if the site is monitored and # of...
  8. Are you a dealer?

How many gun sales transaction must you have before it is obvious you should be licensed? I am shocked to see some with over 100 feedbacks left per year.
  9. Dealers posing as private sellers

I have purchased many guns from dealer's personal stashes without paperwork.
  10. OB"R"O

Ever wonder about those ads that say OBRO (or best reasonable offer)? If a gun is not reasonably priced, what would be considered a "reasonable" offer? Say for instance that you are looking at a gun priced at $1000 and you know it should be priced at $800. Is offering the seller $700-$750...
  11. .327 Fed Mag Ammo

It shoots 32 long as well and you can get that at Walmart. I have some 327 mag I will sell you.
