    I have had WTB ads where someone said “I have one.” and that was it. If you want to sell something put a price on it. If you ask me what I want to pay . I will likely tell you about 80% of new depending on condition and expect haggling to ensue .

    You have been a member for about 3 months. How do you figure you know enough about the site owner and its members to have an opinion about why the site was started? Prices are the prices. No one owes you a deal. Buy it or move on.

    Disabling comments on your ad is against site rules

    I generally find that tire kickers asking questions in the thread are just that. While someone willing to PM is more likely a possible buyer. I also don’t want to keep checking my ad thinking there is interest when it is just Someone padding their message count with useless comments.

    Do you Drive the speed limit, buy weed, or build a deck without a building permit or break any law you don’t think is necessary? No one should have to pay the government for the right to buy and sell something.

    Not selling to the first person to respond has nothing to do with integrity. There is no requirement to sell to anyone until the deal is set.
